From Broadway to Bright Futures

My name is Mia Williamson, and I am the proud founder and President of this exciting program. I am currently a Junior Drama Major at the Frank Sinatra School of the Arts, and I bring with me a rich background as a former Broadway actress. Additionally, I am a proud member of both Actors’ Equity Association (AEA) and SAG-AFTRA. My passion for theater, combined with my experiences in the industry, fuels my desire to help young children gain confidence and discover the magic of musical theater.

Through this program, my goal is to introduce children to the world of musical theater, focusing on the core elements of singing, dancing, and acting. Each class will begin with engaging theater games and warm-up exercises designed to build creativity, teamwork, and confidence. As the program progresses, students will work on various skills and techniques that will culminate in a final showcase. This performance will feature pairs of students, each presenting specific pieces they’ve learned, giving them the opportunity to shine and showcase their growth throughout the program. I am incredibly excited to guide these young performers on their journey in the performing arts!
